We trucked onward through the Devils Backbone AKA The Rocky Mountains... Over hill over dale through construction fighting winds. But it was sunny and warm, Rosa and I are getting sunburned. This area is....no offense to anyone from/in Montana...bleak.
We made it to Billings.
We saw our first herd of Pronghorn Antelope. The next dozen or so antelope were dead, but being dead it didn't run away when I walked up to take its picture. It was also minus its head and the flashy white butt patch... can u say poaching for taxidermy purposes to sell on Ebay (I know someone out there will head over to Ebay to see if any antelope heads are up for auction...
On a more pleasant note, we saw a prairie dog family, flocks of wild turkeys, a trio of mule deer and a dead skunk or two.
The dogs are enjoying the trip, they dumped Rosa and slept with me last night. Neeener neener Rosa :D
We're at a hotel 6 with wifi... costs $2.99 but the room was cheap. $45.29 and has a fridge and mircrowave. Can't say the same about the Days Inn last night...not staying in one of those again.
